Katrien Vandermeersch gets her inspiration from the classic Italian masters, but has a weak spot for the builders from the 17th and 18th century from the Low Lands such as Egidius and Marcus Snoeck, Gaspar Borbon and Pieter Rombouts. She builds these instruments consistent with the original archaic method, without a mould.
